PHORLIX Lite v1.1.6 is now available on the Mac App Store!

Installing the Mac App Store version will replace the version downloaded directly from the website, but your existing data will be preserved and carried over, so there is no need to worry.
This release also includes a few additional language resources.
PHORLIX Lite v1.1.6 RC
PHORLIX Lite v1.1.6 is planned to include an import function for Horos/HorliX data.

We are not proposing any changes to the Horos project. Our point is simply that DICOM is an open, vendor-neutral standard, so users should have a practical way to move their DICOM data to another application when necessary.
The current workflow is as follows:
1. Select “Import From Horos/HorliX” from the File menu.
2. Select a “Horos Data”, “HorliX Data”, or “DATABASE.noindex” folder.
3. PHORLIX Lite scans the selected database for DICOM objects, including files without a .dcm extension. It then displays the number of candidate files and asks for confirmation.
4. The DICOM objects are copied into the PHORLIX database. After the import, PHORLIX reports the number of successfully imported and failed files.
This is an import of the DICOM objects themselves. Horos/HorliX Albums, application settings, and proprietary database data are not imported. The importer does not attempt to reproduce the Horos database structure; it simply provides a way to preserve and transfer portable DICOM data.
If no significant issues are found, we plan to release it on the Mac App Store.
